| I haven't been on the boards much lately. Life has been pretty full. Last November we were able to figure out why my husband had been having "seizures". It ended up that his heart was not receiving the electrical signals to beat so he had a pacemaker placed on November 2. It took a while for him to start feeling better after the operation. Our two kids were both active in sports through the Boys & Girls Club so I was busy taking them to practices, games, scout meetings and preparing for the holidays. Things seemed to be calming down and Dave was feeling better and he was able to help more with the kids. Things were looking up then we needed to call the aid car on Feb. 9th. He was in the hospital until the afternoon of Valentine's Day. My family has been wonderfully supportive and they have helped us so much with the kids. I am so thankful for them. Dave was re-admitted on Monday because he had caught an intestinal bug and in combination with all the diuretics he was on he became severly dehydrated and went into acute renal failure. They have done additional testing on his heart function and his output is now between 25-30%. I am so sad to think that I am losing him. He is such a wonderful father and husband. I have no idea how I will be able to make it without him. I am hoping that I get to bring him home today. I would appreciate any prayers that you may be able to say for our family for strength to handle the things to come. Thank you.

| | Teri, I will be praying for you and your family. Take each day minute by minute and accept help from others. Enjoy every good moment you have and even search them out. I do want to encourage you that there are good days coming. We had a neighbor who has a pacemaker. He has some very tough days when getting around is very difficult and we just wonder how many more days he has with his wife and family. Then, he bounces back and seeing him shopping I sometimes forget the medical issue he is struggling with. This has been going on for atleast 5 or 6 years. You have many challenges ahead. Hang on to God's Love. Feel free to vent when needed and share good news. God Bless you,
- Adrianne
