| Alyssa - We would recommend one adult or teen helper for every 5 students. Some smaller churches have a 1 to 10 ratio but the difficulty of that is really dependent on the kinds of students in the class and the ability of the volunteer to keep everyone focused. We do encourage ministries to look at their youth as a possible additional source of volunteers. And remember, if you need to develop a rotation schedule so that volunteers are on two weeks/off two weeks, you might be able to find additional people that would be willing to be a part of this ministry area on a part-time basis. | Melissa - Group has a midweek program called Faithweaver Friends which is a rotation model. We also have a children's church called KidsOwn Worship that some churches use as a midweek program. Living Inside Out, our large-group/small-group program, is a one-year curriculum split into twelve 4 or 5 week modules. These are theme based and the church I attend used it for midweek for an entire year. I would check out www.group.com/curriculum and download some sample lessons to see what might work for your church and time schedule. Or give one of our curriculum specialists a call at 1-800-447-1070. We'd love to help you find something that would be the right fit for your church. Angela DeWispelaere

| Alyssa, I think you will really like Bible Blitz for a mixed group. I would say 2 people would be plenty. In fact you might look towards using high school kids unless you have a strong attendance in a high school class. I have used them and they get caught up in the learning as well.

| I just started investigating Bible Blitz today and looked at the Hands On Bible. Do you think this would work best in a small church setting of about 6 kids, 2nd-5th graders? Pastor Gwen

| Hi everyone! Next Wednesday, September 3 will be our first class for the school year and we are starting Bible Blitz. I have around 30 kids from Kindergarten to 4th grade and 4-5 volunteers. I will keep you posted on how it goes. If anyone is using this program your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Kristin, Lake Ozark, MO

| I have decided to try this for Fall 2009. Having all the kids in one big room seems a challenge, but then so is getting volunteers that know how to "take charge." It seems with MAX the additional helpers are little more than VBS-style crew leaders. That may make it easier. We'll see!
