Sunday evening one of my Awana girls who brought a friend had something special to tell me. So i stoped and listened
She said my friend here wants to pray and ask Jesus into her heart. Can you pray with her. With rush of the night I made the time to sit and talk with her at the end of counsel time. We went thru the wordless book. She new that Christ died for her sins and that he is preparing a place for her in heaven. I explained once we accept him in our heart we have to read our bibles and pray everyday. That he will be with her forever. The look on this childs face was so wonderful and you know she knew what you were saying. I ask if she wanted to pray and she said yes. So we prayed right there with another leader kneeling by us. Then we gave her a big welcome to the family little sister hug. She smiled so big. Come to find out that she is from a very unchurched family. So I am praying she can come back and that she might be able to come to sunday school as well. With God all things are possible.
Lord I needed this right now. That when I rest in you, You always bring peace to my heart. See I have been struggling with somethings lately . Then today I got a very encouraging email that just touched my heart. Thank you Lord
