| | Hey everyone, As some of you know, my daugter gave birth to a beautiful baby boy 6 days ago. Since bringing him home from the hospital, he has not been eating the way he should. The doctor says he needs to eat 3.6 ounces every 3-4 hrs. The night before last he only ate 1.5 ounces all night long and yesterday he had about 3 ounces in about 10 hrs. The doctor had us change nipples on his bottles (we have tried 3 different bottles) thinking maybe he was having trouble latching on to the nipple. He is doing a little better with this last bottle, but I just finished feeding him and he only ate 2.5 ounces with this last feeding (which is more than he has eaten in one feeding since coming home from the hospital). I would appreciate your prayers for him. He is a little jaundice, but not real bad. The doctors didn't think it was bad enough to cause the decrease appetite. Thankyou all for your prayers!!

Yes, but he is kind of warming up to the idea of having a baby brother (but he still doesn't like sharing the attention of his mom & dad with the baby.) His cousin doesn't need a new baby, we just found out that my other daughter (his mother ) is expecting, so he will have his own baby brother or sister in about 7 months. Thankyou so much for your prayer. My daugher is taking him back to the doctor tomorrow if he doesn't start eating more. God Bless, Angie

| Just an update on my grandbaby-the doctors diagnosed him with laryngomalacia. It is a condition where the immature cartilage of the upper larynx collapses inward during inhalation causing partial airway obstruction. It causes feeding difficulties/breathing problems. They started him on a new formula and a medication for reflux and he seems to be doing a little better. They say it generally resolves spontaneously by the second year of life. Please continue to pray for improvement in his eating and breathing. Thankyou for your prayers. God bless.

| Thanks for the update. Now we can pray more specifically. May the Lord continue to strengthen him and may his recovery be a testimony to all.
