I haven't been around with tips in a while. Easter has got us all running crazy these past weeks. I'm so excited about it!

Here is a simple tip: instead of using crew bags that Group sells, use banker boxes instead. They are large (can hold purses, crafts, crew books, etc.), easy to carry with the handles, and can be decorated with the crew name. In addition, they are great when VBC is over for storage. They make my storage closet look so nicely organized!

This is an easy thing to include on your donation board as well.

Any other ideas for crew bags/boxes?

We use 5 gallon buckets every year for our crews decorated to go along with the themes of course. There's plenty of space in the buckets for everyones books, crafts, nametags, and bottled water for the kids on the hot days.

We just buy cheap canvas totes in the craft section and decorate them for each crew leader.  They seem to work well.

Thanks Deanna! Was waiting to add the tip to Dr. B.'s site.

This is a bankers box. I didn't know what they were either until I saw them!  I assume this is what we're talking about!

God Bess,

Matt

I love this idea!  I've used some type of cheap canvas or plastic bag every year, but I love this idea.  Thanks for sharing!
