I am not sure that is even a word...step-nephew.  Anyway, my neice's husband had an emergency appendectamy last weekend.  He is in a christian metal band called Suffer the King.  He isn't saved......yet but loves playing the drums and has joined this band (which coincidently my brother is the singer for and is saved).  Anyway, we have a youth event coming up April 5th that they are suppose to play for a fundraiser.  The youth are excited to have them perform.....but Derek has been instructed to take it easy for a month.

Please pray that he has a speedy recovery.  The kids are really looking forward to this and Derek himself is in some pain and needs a touch from God to open his eyes to His awesome power!

I prayed to the Lord for a speedy recovery for Derek, but most importantly that through all of this he may see the hand of God at work in his life and that it would draw him to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
