| | Please lift up Jalen in your prayers. She is 15 and is very sick right now. She's been in the hospital the last few months because she is in need of a lung transplant. She has Cystic Fibrosis and has already had a kidney transplant a few years ago because of the CF. Her lung function is 12%. The family will find out Monday where she will be placed on the transplant list. They have had her on antibiotics for an infection also and the combinations of antibiotics that will treat it are not working either. Please lift this family up in your prayers. I will give you updates when we get them. Thank you for your prayers. JamieM |

| | Thank you Kathy. Jalen and her family really need your prayers right now. Her liver enzymes are not good and the liver is swollen. This is causing difficulty breathing. When the doctors did blood work, the anti rejection meds did not show up in her blood work. They have increased the meds and started a round of steroids. They were told that when this all started that there could be a possibility of doing a lung and liver transplant. Her stomach is also swollen. We are praying that her body is not rejecting the first transplant. She is sleeping all the time and the family was told that this is because her body is in survival mode. Please continue to lift Jalen and her family up in your prayers. This family has lost one child several years ago. I will continue to keep you all posted. JamieM |

| | We got an email this morning concerning Jalen. They have a set of lungs that are a perfect match for her. They are supposed to take her this morning between 10 and 11 for surgery. When the doctors do the visual examination of the lungs if they aren't in pristine condition, then they will call the transplant off. Please keep Jalen and her family in your prayers this morning. Our God is awesome. JamieM |
