Everyone must have at least one 'Secret Weapon' that they would not do VBS without.

For me it would have to be fishing line. Every year I have done VBS I have resorted to fishing line for numerous things. For Fiesta and AR we couldn't get the Bible Buddies to stand up on the stage so we tied them with fishing line and strung them from walls, ceilings, lights, pretty much anything we could tie something to.

I just wanted to start getting supplies together and wondered what everyone else couldn't live without!!!

Most definately duct tape. I don't know how many rolls we go through during VBS time. At least 10 or 15.

I echo the above and would add binder clips.  They are cheap and great for hanging things from drop ceilings.  We have a big bin of them that we use every year.  Binder clips, clear packing tape and a glue gun are my favorite things.

We use a lot of the blue painters tape. Our Church building is only 10 years old so we are not allowed to put holes in the walls. For some reason regular masking tape doesn't hold well, and duct tape takes off the paint. So we started using painters tape and it works wonderful.

Also we use bed sheets. We can paint any background and the next year we just paint over it with the next theme. the key to this is to paint a base coat to make the material stiffer and easier to paint on.

As far as supplies go, defenitley DUCT TAPE!

And you must wear a T-Shirt that has one of these while decorating!

But of course this is my favorite.
