| | Help, I don't understand the concept. It seems that you would need alot more people to make this work. At least 7 workers per each lab, and 1 adult per 5 person crew. |

| | You only need one, possibly two people (depending on your VBS size) for your stations. Each crew does need one adult, but you can also use youth. Since the crews are traveling together, it allows the appropriate supervision while allowing the younger leaders time to build their leadership skills. We will be using about 50 people, but that's only because our target is 150 kids.

| Yes, you need to staff this program adequately for it to run smoothly. That means no less than 5 Station leaders if , like me, you do S&P and Finale yourself otherwise, you'll need 6-7. Depending on how many kids you are expecting you'll also need at least 1 Crew Leader for every 5-7 kids. Our max has always been seven and it has worked fine. Also, if your attendance is fairly large (75+) I would suggest getting assistants for your Station Leaders. Of course you can always tailor the program to meet your needs/limits. You will have to do some modifications here and there if you do not have enough volunteers. Remember, Crew Leaders/Station Assistants can also be teenagers between 14-19. Every child has a responsibility in their crew which makes managing the group a little easier. However, if you are forced to have larger crews (7+ kids) I would also suggest an assistant for the CL. My son (14 y.o.) was an station assistant last year and he did wonderful. He is eager to be a Crew Leader this year and I know he will be great. He takes after his dad, of course!

Partnering with parents to "TRAIN" up our children in the way they should go! |

| Last year we ran our AR with 16 main roles. Including all station leaders and crew leaders. We did have a few extra volunteers who helped out but the 'main' leaders added up to only 16. This year I would like a little more but I know that it is possible to run a great vbs with a smaller staff.

| | There are ways to double up station leaders (snacks and games could be run by the same person, Opening and Closing run by the same person) it really just depends on the size of your VBS. How many kids are you expecting?

| You need less teachers then other VBS programs but over all you need more volunteers. More people are willing to participate in VBS with five children, who they are in charge of; over being responsible for teaching a lesson each day. |

| | We have 1 person per station with a "teen Helper" and 1 leader per crew...if the group is large, we had a "helper" again. The beginning and end program i do, so that eliminates a person. It works good for us and we get about 80 kids on average. |
