| I think that the stone wall in PJ's post is called stone corobuff. It's like carboard but only about half the thickness so it's bendable and plyable. You can also get it as just a roll of paper if I remember correctly. You can purchase it from party stores and from the Group Outlet. http://store.grouppublishing.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?item=1087174§ion=18362 You might have a hard time with it outside though. You would have to get some kind of weighted frame built and then cover it with the corobuff. God Bless, Matt

| This question is for PJ in NJ. I LOVE the museum idea and wanted to know if you would be willing to post the "write-ups" on all of the articfacts that you displayed and also how you made the paper with the scroll on it to write your descriptions. It would be such a time-saver! Thanks for your consideration! Kelly

| For GBS, we used a tent for the synagogue, which will only work if you have smaller groups. The kids sat on the floor, on the sides of the tent. But our leader put a small table with a cover on it, and our church had a small wooden pulpit that she stood behind on occasion. On the table, she had the scrolls, menorah, etc. displayed. Very small, intimate, atmosphere. It was great!

| We also aimed for a more intimate, peaceful atmosphere for the synagogue. We had our GBS indoors, so one small classroom was dedicated for our synagogue. We hung cloth in front of the classroom cupboards. We took all the furniture out of the room and put two sheets on the floor separated by a row of tiny chairs (to divide the space, not to sit on). Our 'rabbi' made a very wise decision in keeping the overhead fluorescents OFF. The slightly dimmer atmosphere with candles and light from the window had an amazing effect on the kids and created a more sacred, holy sort of atmosphere. Even our most challenging "hyperactive" children became calm and attentive in the synagogue! I think they were captivated by a combination of the rabbi's storytelling style and the atmosphere of the room. So, basically, we had draped cloth, candles, a few Jewish items, and two separate sheets on the floor for males and females... a very simple but very peaceful synagogue. Katinka

What is the link to your First Century Workshop Website? I think I would like to do the museum and the museum info would really be a great help! Thanks!
