| | I keep seeing several references to a balloon arch, which sounds like a really cool idea, but ... one question... how exactly do you make said arch? How do you attach the balloons together, to what? |

| | Depending on how big (tall and wide) you want the arc to be it can be laborious. But not too bad if you have a few people helping. If you can attach the arch to a wall then you will be better off if you use an electric or even a manual air pump to help fill the balloons. We are talking at lest 75-100 or more balloons! If you are using the arch in the middle of an isle where you do not have access to any kind of suspension then you will need to fill them up with helium. You start by cutting cut a piece of string or fishing line as long as you want the arch to be (height & length). Then you fill up and tie three balloons forming a cluster. You make enough clusters to fill up the entire length of your cord. Here is how you attach them... Also on Dr. Blindtein's Laboratory website under decorations and props/Lab Entrance.

| | In high school I used to do arc's all the time for dances. If you have access to pvc piping then here are my instructions: • Fishing line (clear) • Needle (eye big enough for the line) • cinder block or other weights to hold down the arc • Balloons If getting hellium is a problem, we've done this without. Create your arc out of your tubing and secure it to the floor. You may also need to secure it to the ceiling based on how big you make it. String your inflated balloons on the fishing line. If you do multiple colors - one per line and then you can work to wrap those around the arc. We were usually able to create this in the afternoon before the dance. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

| | How long do the balloons stay looking good? Helium doesn't last through the week in latex balloons I don't believe. |

| | IDEA! Take 2 of those left over AR barrels paint them silver to create beakers! Stick each side of the balloon arch into the barrels. The ballons are like bubbles coming out of the beakers, it would be cool to also have bubbly noises in the background! God Bless, Matt

| Depending on the quality of the balloons they can last all week. I made one for (HolyWord Studios) that lasted more than a week. Don't be fooled by those "Helium Quality" balloons from the dollar stores. Some work, some don't. Most are good, but not as good as those you would get at a party store. You will pay more, but they WILL last longer.

| What about that stuff you can put into the balloons to make them last longer?

| | The stuff you can use to make the balloons last longer is called Hi-Float. Our balloons stay looking good all week with no problem. And we use tons and tons of balloons! |
