I hope that I am not jumping the gun here but I was wondering who is planning on doing the follow up for VBS. Have you done the follow ups in the past? Are they something worth doing and do have have a great cost to them? When should you begin planning for this event if you are going to do this?

We are doing Slime Time.  Slime Time is the reason we chose Pwer Lab, which I love by the say.  We are going to do it as a Halloween alternative Friday night or Saturday (Oct. 31 or Nov 1st)  We will have the date settled before VBS is over, so we can invite kids from vbs and have them put in in their calendar now.  The Sample kit just shipped, so I don't know shat we are going to do yet, but the crafts are the same as Power Lab, so I plan to keep most of my props for Slime Time.

We'll likely be doing Slime Time as well!  We have ours more like an open house during Trick or Treat.  So kids are beginning to count on us being there with the doors open!

YEs, we are doing! This will be our 3rd year! and has been our biggest outreach yet! We reach more families in 2 1/2 hour event then for the 5 days of VBS, so you can imagine the impact! I love the fact that Group is connecting it with VBS, great to reuse everything and also to call the VBS kids to come back one more time!! I can't wait to get my kit (cheaper). The catalogs are out, Jill sent me some, I loved it!!

We do Group VBS through our Church (actually, two of our churches are now partnered together for the last 2 years).  Then our school (a school sponsored by the same two churches) does the Fall Event.  We will be doing it for the 3rd time for all the students of the school as a Halloween alternative...and WE JUST LOVE IT!!!!  We have also then used it as an enrollment/public outreach as well with decent success.  I recommend it highly.
