| | It's so catchy, and it fits our lesson this week!!! "Go! Go! Go! Go!...and make disciples, of every nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit..." We have this song on tape cassette but really need it in an electronic format to use for kids' church on Sunday. I don't have the tools to make that happen! So often I come across a topic in our children's ministry curriculum for a which a Group song just POPS into my head, and I say--"Oh! that's the perfect song for this lesson! If only I could download it!" If only... I would happily fork over $2-5 per song for that kind of last-minute service, as children's church comes quickly every week and it's so hard to find that perfect song. Thanks for any help you can give--I REALLY want to use this song! |

| | Thanks, Melissa! I can't wait till you open your music store. It would be really cool if downloaded songs came with lyric files we could drop into MediaShout's Lyra function, or even better--downloadable music videos with lyrics built in for kids' worship time! A searchable lyrics database would be a great help too when we're looking for a song where we know some of the lyrics but don't know the title, or want to find a particular idea expressed in a song. Having songs tagged and searchable by topic would also be super useful--for example: trust, blood, great commission, etc. Or if certain songs are particularly suited to accompany a certain Bible story or truth, like Daniel, Jonah, Ruth, Moses, Red Sea, Exodus, Creation, they could be tagged with those words...you get the idea! This would be very similar to the search function on veer.com for example, where images are searchable by many terms which describe the images, enabling users to narrow down the possible matches to their criteria.
