This may be to late but you could start for next year... for our teachers at school we did Digital Storybooks from Creative Memories...they truly are the BEST!!!   One of the Pastor's wives on here said something about a scrapbook...thats what this is only you create it on the computer and when you are done you print it like an actual book...People LOVE these...you could take pics of different events throughout the year and then when it gets closer ask the kids..."My favorite thing about Pastor____ and His wife are...."  and then put it in exactly how they word it...SO VERY CUTE!!!  The book is 49.99 plus shipping and tax and it comes with a standard 20 pages but you could add more for I think 1.25 each....they do turn out really cute.  You can do cheaper versions but they are exactly that...cheaper...they are not made as well.  If you have questions please let me know....would be something to think about for next year at least!!!  I did one for Avalanch Ranch last year...just for our Children's min to have...gonna do one for PL this year as well...I'm a picture NUT!!!

Hope that helps at least for an idea for next year!!!

Faith doesn't get you around trouble, it gets you through it!

Thanks SO much for all the ideas. I generally spearhead Pastor Appreciation at our church, but we celebrate it in October. These ideas have really been helpful, because I feel we are continually doing the same thing over and over. This year we will be having a singing of only hymnals (Our pastor is very sentimental to them), have a dinner and then I would love to have a quilt to give them. My question is how do you go about doing it and not forgetting anyone. Also, if noone in your congregation quilts who do you go to.

Thanks again,

Lana
