| I am not sure if this has been said or not....it probably has but I am reinstating it. A factory that fabricates steel near here gave me large barrels that are open on both ends and a hefty cardboard type material. It is used to store wire and when they use all the wire, they toss the barrels away. Anyway, I have one halfway done but I spraypainted it orange (soaks alot of paint! I used one full can and put it on in three thin coats) and put a biohazard sign on it with DANGER BIOHAZARD. I am then going to do a carboard top with holes and a fog machine down inside it. The other one I am painting orange as well but am going to put DANGER POISON with the skull and crossbones. Then I am going to use that expanding foam that you use to spray in cracks. It is yellow in color and expands all lumpy. I am going to put a cardboard top on this barrel then spray that yellow foam on the lid and going down the side...then paint it green so it looks like toxic goop.
A lot of ppl post great ideas and never put how much they invest in the project. 4 large barrels free, paint $5, foam $3. Total to do four LARGE barrels---$8.00. Once I get them completed, I will take pics...probably in a week or two.

| | You did a great job on those. I was lucky enough to have some barrels left over from last year, so we will be doing something along that line, but I hadn't thought about the paint soaking into the barrels so I am glad you mentioned that. |

| Greetings! Wow....it seems like I've been gone FOREVER! What type of paint did you use on the foam? I haven't had much luck trying to paint it in the past.....the paint sort of slides off.

| | I haven't painted the foam yet. However, you can get foam that is a bright yellow once dried, so I may not have to paint it. However, should I decide to (which I probably will). All you have to do is sand it, create a rough, poreous surface for the paint to adhere to. I haven't had much time to work on it lately, but I hope to get it done in a week or two and will post the finalized pics.

| Looks great! I thought that maybe you could fashion a battery top out of some cardboard and you could make a life size Max. Add some wire arms and attatch a pair of gloves and you have Max. You could also just make some large batteries as props. Just my ramblings. |
