| | I was thinking of making a lab station that says something like Battery Recharging Station (using large baked bean cans wrapped with something that says Energizer on it stacked off to the side...) but then, I was going to put a big open bible on the table, so they know that's where to go for recharging... |

| | That's thinking and getting the WORD out. In painting your cardboard barrels or foam in general,or if you want to prime your project. You can't beat the the "oops" paint at HomeDepot, it's $1 quart and $5 a gallon. I have experience in mixing two or three of them to create my own color. I have also found BigLots has paint cheap to prime with or add color. Dollar store brushes, rollers, pans and tape completes my high dollar operation. I hate to clean out brushes... at Harbor Freight Tools you can buy a box of 36 either 1-1/2 or 2" brushes on sale for $6 and you use them and toss them. I like the battery idea... quick project... the teen girls enjoy painting... will post pics.

| | Wallmart has cheap paint at about $7 per gallon and you can have it any color you want. I also have been using craiglist wanted section to locate free or cheap items. I was recently blessed with 10 pieces (44" by 10") 1/4" faom board used for signs (it's not as breakable as two and easier to use then cardboard.) Pandy |

| | I really like the idea of painting the barrels to look like batteries. One of my decorating ladies had this to say: "I just don't see how Hazardous waste fits the theme - To me the theme is creating something wonderful - Hazardous waste is negative unless we use it is a place to store negative thoughts, ideas ets. Batteries sound better - Use batteries to get charged up for doing Gods work. You could still paint them in bright colors." Anyway, I thought I would share her thoughts with you, if you are debating on what to do with barrels and such.

| Allison, I totally agree with your lady friend. That is why I am doing the Toxic barrel with the Poison emblem on the front and the word SIN right under it. I am using this prop to give a pep talk about repentance and living for Jesus, Day 4.

| My husband is a chemist and he says that in the lab you try to have as little hazardous waste as possible. I like that idea in relation to sin. In our labs/lives we should strive to have as little hazardous waste/sin as possible. Of course there will be some, and isn't it great that if we ask him, Jesus will come in and clean it all up for us?
