I have been using Grapple during our Sunday School hour with my CLUB 456 group (grades 4,5,& 6) since September (when we kicked off our new preteen ministry). I love the curriculum - they respond well to it - I love all of the options - so do they. What I really totally LOVE is the way that it has them digging into the scriptures & getting to know their way around the Bible better (both Old & New Testament). We use the REALife Bibles from Zondervan. They have been able to relate what they're learning to their lives & issues they are facing.

I also love the media connections options, games, & video clips to expand the lessons. In fact since we began using it, I haven't seriously considered switching to anything else - its such a perfect fit for our needs. I love the Parent Connection & all the web features for teachers (email lessons, download clips, etc.)

That being said, I do not find that my preteens are using the website features at home, as many others have commented here. BUT, they have had fun playing the games & exploring the website during our "free" time when I have brought my laptop up to our room.

So, I would say if you are looking for a great curriculum that deals with preteen issues & has them digging into their Bibles each week, order Grapple today - even if they never use the website features (& I see it becoming more & more appealing for them) it is SOOOO worth it!!!

I love the curriculum... we use it on wed nights. But to be quite honest i'm deff not buying again. The kids don't use the site at all!!! most NEVER have internet access. this may work well in a BIG group with many kids who's parents are well enough off to have internet at home... otherwise not really. Plus from what they tell me none of them are really even allowed on social networking sites to begin with. I'm gonna try the LIVE curriculum, and see how that works after this quarter is over..
