I've read several posts about looking for hula hoops and colorful balls to make atoms.   I think they sound very cute.   Does anyone have a picture or pattern for me to follow?

Thanks!

Dawn,

There is a decorations video on the Group website that has pics and instuctions for making them.  See the link below.

http://www.groupvbs.com/powerlab/freebies_updates.asp

Dr. Blindstein also has detailed instructions and pics for a collapsible version on his website.  (Looks great, Dr. B!!)

We will be making some soon.

If you purchased the VBS starter kit there is a picture of one on the inside of the Faith Fusion Finale folder

I made these using hoola hoops and plastic balls. However, I used eyebolt screws and nuts to join them so that they are collapsible (easy for transport). I have step by step instructions (with photos) on my website (dr. Blindstein's Laboratory). Sadly, I cannot put a link to it here, but if you are interested send me a PM or an e-mail and I will send you the direct link. Here is a photo of the finished product.

Thanks Janet! I just noticed your post referencing my site. Your support is an encouragement!
