| We are trying to do activities to bringmore people into our church plus get the people already there more active. We are doing Family Movie Night on May 3, 2008 but are looking for some other fun family activities that we could do. Any ideas?

| We have a very small church, but we have done some very fun things to bring people in. Here are a few of my favorites:
Luau Party
60's Party
Murder Mystery Night (some churches may not really approve of this one, but we had a lot of fun with it)
Game Night (Set up a bunch of board games and just let people mingle. Offer pizza.)
Most recently, we hosted a Cranium night. Basically we took several of the Cranium board games and had people playing. If you have never played Cranium before, I highly recommend it. My favorite to play at church is the Family Fun Edition (http://www.hasbro.com/games/cranium/browse.cfm?page=&product_id=21351).
I may have some other ideas, but this is all I can come up with right now. I hope it gets you started.

| Game nights have always had a big turn out for our school & church. We just have people bring their favorite game(s), and setup lots of tables. People just naturally mingle and make groups of players and have a blast.
Another kind of 'game' night we've been trying to get off the ground is more like an 'open gym' night. Having 1/2 the room be a small basketball court (with portable/collapsible hoops we already have) and the other half a floor hockey or soccer area, and maybe use a second smaller room for the littler kids to have their own games going on. Of course, you have to have rooms big enough to do this in And some way of making sure everyone who wanted to play got a turn - time limits on games, scheduled 'start' times for different age groups, or something like that.
Good luck & God Bless!
