| I don't know if you are still looking for help, but maybe I can offer some. Instead of using the little wooden "Bible memory makers" from Group last year, we came up with our own Bible memory makers idea. I had volunteers cut out fish shapes from construction paper with the appropriate day's color and silhouette. You can easily do this by enlarging Group's clipart pictures of the fish to create a template of each one and then tracing it onto the colored construction paper. Then I printed out multiple copies of each day's Bible verse on normal paper. The children pasted their Bible memory verses onto their fish. We then strung them up with yarn or string to little sticks just as if they were a catch of fish. The homemade craft turned out cute. It also gave the children an opportunity to work creatively with the verses instead of just receiving a little wooden trinket. The one setback is that the construction paper fish have all probably made their way to people's trash cans or recycle bins by now. Hopefully, though, the memories of the verses and the experience the children had will remain. That's the important thing.

| we did the same thing as you. I am going to get the foam instead of construction paper and cut out the fish and put the verse on it.
