Isaiah 6:8

Greetings friends,

Once again I seek prayers for an upcoming trip to Haiti.  I've been called to join the June 20-30 team in Port-au-Prince to do a VBS (yay!) and some construction work.  (ugh!)

The team includes youth who have never been on a mission trip, never mind to the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

Please pray for the team, for myself, my family and my office as this is last minute (even for me)

most of all I ask you to lift Haiti to our Lord.  That country has been riddled with suffering and the current state is worse than usual.  Food prices are soaring and people are starving and killing each other to feed their families.

Thanks again prayer warriors...

Blessings,

What a great opportunity God is giving you. Praying for you as you prepare for your trip. May God continue to use you as He sees the love you have for children and Haiti.

God's Blessings to you Donna

Donna,

God bless you, strengthen you, fill you a greater anointing and may He use you mightily as you continue to obey the calling. You are a true inspiration to what missions is all about. I pray that everyone's life would be totally blessed, changed and renewed as you see God's hand at work through you. Go in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus. I will also pray that those you minister to will "Discover Jesus' Miraculous Power!"  Ah-Ha!

Greetings,

The team is enlarging and now includes my husband John and our daughter Jesslyn.  She will be the youngest missionary in our church to go to Haiti.  At first I was saying "No, she is too young and Haiti is too dangerous."

Then the Lord worked on my heart and gave me Peace when Jesslyn came to us and asked if she could be Baptised I knew this was in His plan for her.  I will not stand in her way.

John and I have never been on a full team together (never wanted to leave her for that long a time) but now the door is open and we will experience our first missions trip together to Haiti for the entire mission.  It's hard to believe between all of us this will make 26 times and we have never been there for more that 5 days together.  Crazy!

I am in charge of games for VBS!  I am bringing down a 30' play parachute (they have never seen one) so if someone knows some fun activities with that I would be grateful!

Thanks for letting me share...praying for all your PL, can't wait to see pictures!

Blessings,

Wow!!! How awesome!!!  I'm so excited for you!!!  In my son's preschool they were just playing with one of those parachutes and they used h2o ballons and tried to get them as high as they could and pop them...the kids had so much fun!!!!  I will be praying that God goes before you and  opens the hearts of all those kiddo's!!!  God Bless

Faith doesn't get you around trouble, it gets you through it!

How awesome Donna!  Praying for a wonderful trip.  God seems to do amazing things through His people when we choose to follow His call.
