| Not sure how big your VBS is, but we have done it inside and then each class goes to a specific classroom to wait for parents. The parents sign out on a roster that also lists allergies, emergency contact info, allowed pick up persons etc. We have required picture IDs for anyone the teacher didn't know. This has worked well for just over 300 kids. Becasuse lines get long with picture ID checking and larger class sizes, we are going to try something a bit different this year. One of our members attended another VBS program last year and came back with this idea we are going to use in addition this year. We are going to use Tyvek bracelets (google it) and write the family number on it. They will have a new one each day. The parents will have a church business card with the same number on it. Parents can get additional cards during sign in procedures if someone else is picking up. If they forget their card they will be required to go to a desk and show two pieces of ID and be given a new card. This way if someone comes to pick up that is not on the orignial registration form we don't ahve to make phone calls and look confused. Any other idea?

| I like that idea, we only have about 30 kids so pick-up is not a major issue. But another program for older kids starts at 11:30 and JM is over at 11:15 so it will get pretty hectic in our little lobby. God Bless, Matt
