Ben Stein's movie, Expelled, just recently hit the theatre. From the trailers and interviews with Ben Stein, I understand that the film exposes how scientists interested in exploring the merits of Intelligent Design are being suppressed and even censured by the science community.
I remember reading about the Darwin "theory" in school, but always thought it was considered a "theory". I was alarmed to hear that the science community has elevated this scientific theory to the status of scientific fact to the exclusion of other theories - specifically intelligent design.
I've already gotten emails from folks in the scientific community recommending the movie, so I do plan to see it. Unfortunately, I'm a liberal arts major who took only enough science courses to graduate, so I have no expertise in the field of science. Therefore, I'd love to hear from you science majors out there.
What do you think about the movie, Expelled?
How will you respond to question regarding "Expelled" and intelligent design vs Darwinism?
