Hi,

We are seriously considering switching to Faith Weaver in the Fall, but the one nagging thought that I have (maybe I am just missing it somewhere) is where's the media?  I have found it difficult to find a curriculum that is solid Biblically, goes through the Bible, but still has some sort of media that goes with it.

Any suggestions?

FaithWeaver doesn't have any video media, but does have a CD with sound effects, music, and drama on them (varies by quarter and by age). The Teacher Packs that are available for Infants, Toddlers, & Twos - Grades 5&6 do have a CD included. As a part of the FaithWeaver product line, we also have the Sing-Along Songs DVDs with on-screen lyrics and motions. We currently have 10 volumes of this DVD available for $18.99 each.

KidsOwn Worship Children's Church includes a CD with music, a discussion-starter DVD, and a FaithWeaver Sing-Along Songs DVD. KidsOwn Worship is a part of the FaithWeaver family of resources which means that it follows the same scope and sequence. The focus of this curriculum is worship. The kids learn how and why we worship God through music and hands-on activities.

Group's Living Inside Out has more media, so that might be a good choice for you to look at if media is something you really want. We also have Bible Blitz which as a Sing-Along DVD, as well as a CD.

Please let us know if we can answer any further questions.

I had the same question.

I have been using FWF for 3 rotations now I noticed one thing: the openning. If they would develop even simple videos to go along with the CD's it would help. My kids are getting very bored acting along with the CD everytime.

Have you heard anything about changes?
