Am i missing something?  In the book it shows all the spices and gives supplies, but there are no instructions about what the children are supposed to do at this shop.

Does anyone have any insight on this?  (And also what are the 6" squares of solid colored cloth for?)

If I'm remembering correctly, the 6" squares of fabric are used to make little sachets.  The kids grind up some spices and place them in the center of the square.  Then they gather up the edges and tie it with a piece of string.  The kids really enjoy working with the spices and this is a very economical craft -- a little bit of supplies goes a long way.

Here are some links to threads from last year on this subject where I left posts:

Yep, that's the idea.  We are using little plastic bottles attached to a string from Bethlehem Village in our Spice Shop, we have them left over so we decided to use them!

God Bless,

Matt
