| | Hey Sherri, I just sent you an email with a link you HAVE to check out (wink! wink!). In the meantime, I don't know what size the hex nut is, but you put it inside the balloon and the crew leaders blow up the balloon and then they twirl the balloon holding both ends - REALLY LOUD! - used on day 1 As far as the paper, if you are talking about golden rod color changing paper then YES, I think it is the same thing/concept. - used on day 4 No, the insta snow is not the same as the expando powder the point is that when the liquid is absorbed then it will become a substance that will stay in the cup while you tip it upside down on the crew leaders. It will give the ahh affect, because the kids will think you are about to pour the liquid on the leader, but it has been absorbed by the expando powder (Educational innovations call it sodium polyacrylate). Steve spangler calls it the "baby diaper secret". - used on day 3 Good luck and blessings,

I believe everything I have wrote is equivalent, check it out for yourself. If you really want the kit, email me (email me by clicking the email link on the bottom of my post -don't post your email address because I may not re-read the thread) and I will send you a link to a site I found that sells the outlet items - obviously I can't post that link and I haven't tried them out so I am not sure how reliable or how much shipping costs are for them. Blessings, Correction BELOW: Sorry, I was just told by a fellow groupie that the link I had that I sent to a few of you are out of stock!!! If you are desperate here is a link to teachersource/ed innovations and they have all the items you need, just may cost more, but you get more for the price. Here are the names of the items you will need from the site: Brass nuts (you can buy these at any hardware store) $14.95 per 100 #CD-3 Sodium Polyacrylate (or expando powder) $6.95 per 4oz (other amounts sold) #GB-6A Spy Pen (or invisi-pen) with ultraviolet light $5.95 each #PEN-125 Goldenrod paper (reactor paper) $7.95 per 100 sheets #SM-925 Balloons - any quality balloon will do windtubes (test tube-a-loon) $4.95 per 4 tubes #WIN-600 Steve Spanglers site has a lot of these items also just type in the above names in the search field and you will find what you need. Sorry, I hope this helps you out!
Blessings and Good Luck,

| I found invisible pens with the lights in them for $1.67 a piece with no shipping. I did a google search for invisible pens and it came up on a site called Deal Extreme. I feel badly about posting this--I know you're not supposed to post competing products-- but if Group has run out, I don't know of another choice! Thanks to others for their help!

| | Expando powder has a lot of names. It is called "Gel Powder" "Slush Powdre" or "Water Gel" (to name a few). Steve Spangler has it. I have purchase it in the past from Puppet Productions. Hobby Lobby and other craft stores have it in the Science fair area. I buy it wholesale in large quantities for workshops I do. |

| I have been emailing with my Group VBS specialist. They are getting in the individual components of the Cinema Science Kit and should have them available by late next week. Contact your regional specialist to get their assistance.

| I called the Customer Service number (1-800-447-1070) and just told them the problem I had not being able to get the Kit in time. The Representative asked what state I was in and that they would transfer me to my VBS specialist. I got a voice mail and left my message. She returned my call within a few hours. I asked for her email address and started conversing that way. She has been quick to respond to each email.
