I received our Science kit about a month ago and handed out to our Cinema Science person. But we just found out we were missing the Tube a balloons and expando powder from our kit. VBS start next monday. HELP!!!!
What happened to Group this year. Here we paid for the kit and have to go and find the items other places. I know it will work out but I don't need the stress!

Thank You Thank You!  I love this forum and Steve Spangler!  I jsutordered what I need for the cinema science kit from SS and now my panic is gone.  I always like to have a back up plan in case the Group order doesn't come through.  Also, I don't mind ordering extra stuff from different vendors because one of my sons theme for their birthday party is the VBS theme (Science in september/Ranch in December this year...yes, I have a VBS basement)

Thank you so much for the Steve Spangler suggestion.

Mary Sue, where are you located?  Maybe someone nearby could help.

Also, you can get that powder from the center of disposable diapers (and you only need a little bit) and the tubaloons can be created from a $5 Diaper Genie refill!

Hi Sherrie!

The hex nuts are just used in balloons to make sound- talks about how the hex nut reminds us of bumpy times.  So balloons are tied and you shake them - so not too complicated (I hope!)  We also start on June 9th, and I just found out we don't have the books or any experiment stuff.  I just ordered from the Steve Spangler website, and am hoping they will be here Tuesday morning or before!

Sherri,

We (in Ohio too) also start on Monday.  The hex nuts are something used to tell how we all have bumpy things in our lives, and are put into the balloons, which are tied and then shook.  So, hopefully not too hard (although I can't blow up balloons, am hoping that my fellow leader can!)

I just ordered the powder, reactor paper and pens from the Steve Spangler site, and am hoping it will be here by Tuesday morning at the latest!  Praying for God to lead you also - what He brings us to He's supposed to lead us through - talk about a bumpy time right now - plus I just found out we didn't order the books, so am going to have to improvise!

Hi Sherrie and Steph

Send me an email and I will send you to a link where you can get Take Home Sheets. Missy posted these earlier and they are great. All you have to do is make a copy off her attachment and then run these off on bright color paper. They even have an experiment kids can do at home. Has questions about that days lesson.

Since they're not showing up on the Outlet site anymore, can someone please detail exactly how much of what we need to buy from other sources?

i.e. How many tube-aloons?
How much expando powder
how many sheets of reactor paper
How many invisipens, etc?

That would be very helpful!

Am I correct that I only need one Cinema Science kit? I can't seem to find that info anywhere. We are planning for 80-100 kids/12-13 crews. Thanks.
