| | I'm having trouble establishing a theme night for Sunday. Jesus heals the leper. What might the kids wear to help remember the lesson? |

| | One night at Awana we had a "great affliction" theme night - where the kids came bandaged up or on crutches and such. This would work, since it is about Jesus' healing power. I bought one of those "broken bone" protruding through the skin patches and put that on my 6 year old's leg complete with fake blood and bandaged his head. He was a huge hit - I thought it was cool - I have a sick sense of humor. The kids liked coming in with bandaids, gauze, crutches and casts. You could have them cast their bandages and such off when Jesus "heals them" - the same time the lepers are healed. hummm.... I hadn't thought about theme nights, now I might have to - please post what you are doing on the other nights. Thanks and blessings,
