How big does the aquarium need to be for Day 3 of the Faith Fusion Finale? Is a 30 gallon tank big enough?

The largest item you have to put in it is a bowling ball.

Wouldn't a large and deep plastic tub also work as long as you could see through the sides?  I just couldn't justify the cost of an aquarium and don't know of many folks who just have one lying around!

I think we are just going to use a big rectangular clear plastic rubbermaid container (that we already have).

Putting a bowling ball into a glass aquarium sounds pretty dangerous!

I put it out there to borrow one from our congregation but now I am really nervous about that! I have not really had a chance to read what they do with it-maybe will go with the rubbermaid idea-sounds safer all the way around!

And you can store supplies in it all week and after VBS!

when you are looking for "misc" items, check www.craigslist.com. it is sort of a "wanted/needed" classified list. it is totally free. you look it up by your area. there is a lot of free stuff or very cheap. sort of an online garage sale. i have found many a thing there!

ps. when looking for aquariums, ask for the air motor/bubble tubes so you can have bubbling goo in other containers!
