| Is anyone else NOT using the Bible Buddies in their program? We are thinking about eliminating them mostly due to cost. Our thought was to then use the Bible Memory stamps and stamp the childs hand or their Science journal (that we would be making on day one instead of the test tube since it wouldn't be necessary)

| Using trading cards is a good alternative if you can't buy the buddies. You can have the buddy on the front and then the Bible Verse and story and Power Point on the back.

| MissyL (5/5/2008) Using trading cards is a good alternative if you can't buy the buddies. You can have the buddy on the front and then the Bible Verse and story and Power Point on the back. I assume we would need to make these ourselves? I wonder if that would be redundant since we are using the Catholic version and will be using the People of Faith cards already. Would that be to many cards?

| Depends on the kids I guess. Do you think they would like them? What about the shrinky dinx? Is it at all possible to include the buddies in your budget? The kids really really do love them. How many kids are you planning on?

| | I would do anything to get the buddies! There is really no alternative in my opinion. It is the second thing I budget for when I'm planning. (After the Starter Kit.) God Bless, Matt

| Heather, I agree with Matt. Is there anything else you can cut back on and get the buddies? Can you do an extra fund raiser? They are truly a keepsake and although some note that the verses are not that legible I have witnessed how some kids remember the verse just by seeing the buddy. I realize it is a little costly, but like Matt, that is one essential I always get. Not to mention that I collect them and plan to make them into Christmas Tree ornaments!

| We have used the buddies in the past, but now that our numbers have tripled in the past three years, it is just cost prohibitive. We are doing the trading cards this year.
