| | If I should choose not to use Group's Power Lab Buddy Beaker and order the baby soda bottles from stevespanglerdotcom, how would I get them connect to a ring or keychain since these do not have a hingle? Thanks!

| I purchased the baby soda bottles and they awesome! We are using them to make lava lamps (recipe found on Steve Spangler's site). We tested them with an 8 year old girl who LOVED them and thought they were so cool. Of course, we are bubbling over with the power of Jesus!

| | For those of you using the bsbs instead of the buddy beakers... How (if at all) are you incorporating the buddies/trading cards? I love the lava lamp thing, but still want to use trading cards as well.

| After reading to entire manual on this year's VBS, since I am new as director, I found that the bible buddies/trading cards are given out during Chadder's Science Cinema. I would still like to know a way of connect a key ring to the steve spangler bottles. I was thinking of something that could maybe be hot glued to the top or perhaps tiny screw that could screw in and hot glue on the inside so the liquid won't leak out. I am going to purchase a set and experiment and let you all know what I come up with.

| | I'm going to pre-wrap rubber bands around the neck and put split ring clips (which I got from OTC) on the bands to hold the Bible Buddies... |

| I'm doing the steve spangler tubes also and I was wondering about the rubber washers you can buy for your garden hose. Could you poke a small hole in them for a keychain ring that was hooked to a mini-caribiner clip for the buddies? The rubber washers come like 15 to a thing for just a buck or two. I'm going to give it a shot soon. |

| what proportions did you use to make the lava lamps in the baby soda bottle/test tubes from steve spangler? His experiment said to use 16 oz, bottles. Also did you still put in the alka seltzers? are you concerned about the kids spilling the oil? sounds great!

| Just a thought on the rubber band issue -- you might want to hot glue it in place, because I know several boys in our church who would immediately take them off and use them as a projectile tool. |

| | You could use nylon cable ties and slip a jump ring on the cable tie before you tighten it around the neck of the bottle, then trim the "tail" of the cable tie after it is tightened. They are pretty inexpensive for a package at Dollar Stores, come indifferent sizes and are very hard to break off. |
