| | Does anyone know how the ends of the pool noodles are fasten together. I know they are done with nylon ties, but how? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Jeanna

| I made a chain and my daughter and I just tied fishing line onto a Sharpie and dropped the Sharpie down the hole of the noodle. Then she held the ends together and I pulled the loop tight and tied it off.

| | Hi, We used the gardening "twist ties" from dollar tree and put them down the middle and tied them. Worked great. Didn't hurt the noodles and was cheap! |

| | How do you think it would look to make DNA strands with paper strips. You know like we do for Christmas chains but, use different colors. This would be cheaper than the pool noodles and kids could help make them. |

| The problem would be finding paper thick enough to maintain a shape and make the loops larger...
