Hello fellow VBS-obsessers!

I received a postcard today from Group that says "Be the very first to know..." on the front with two pictures (a candle-lit lantern with 2 "stars" in the black background, and sand with a curved line drawn in it, like a paren ( or even a frown...)

The back has "... next summer's best-ever VBS themes! Two all new programs...two big-fun themes...two clues on the front of this card...but only one way to get your next clue!
Visit www.group.com/vbs on June 2nd! (more clues waiting!)"

Ohhhh! I'm excited now!

I got it too... The lantern is making me wonder... I was hoping for a space theme next year (so I could reuse some props from this year...

The second seems to be half of a fish. I've heard the fish "icthus" was a way of saying "hey I'm a believer. One would make a swoosh with your foot in the sand, and if someone else was a Christian, they would do the same, completing the fish. ICTHUS in Greek is a acronym for Jesus Christ God's Son Savior, if my memory serves. Maybe the Jerusalem Market is heading to Rome with the disciples.

Any chance you could scan the card in so those of us who don't get it will be able to speculate with you?

Ok, thats not fair since ours will go to the church, too. Don't leave us hanging. Please Scan the card in so we can all see what it looks like. I was hoping for a Bayou theme.

Please post a picture of it.

Thanks,

Kathy

I don't have access to the church scanner, and the office manager is really, really busy this week. Sorry!

Can anyone else scan it?

I got my teaser postcard today!

I do agree that the right side is half of a fish in the sand. I have no idea what the left side will be but I know it will be the "Easy" VBS.

I'm excited now!

God Bless,

Field test is the first week of June for Easy VBS. They usually let us know the new themes by end of June or first week of July.

I'm more interested in what's new. I hear that the changes will be more than just a new theme. Hum???
