My immediate response was that it was like a lantern used to walk around a castle.... You know medieval times, knights and such...

Just throwing that into the mix. We'll know more on June 2nd when the clue comes out!

Good luck guys! Sorry I won't be joining the guess/knowing game this year! Have fun.

Thank You Mindy! Now that I see it fireflies is what it looks like to me. I know in a survey I took over a year ago this is the one( bayou theme) I ranked the best. Wanted to do a mission project for Louisana.. Hope our guess is right.

The other side looks like a line drawn in the sand. Maybe about the different battles in the Bible.

Hmmm... I'm with Josh. It looks very medieval to me. Or maybe that is just wishful thinking. I don't know.

I'm definately saying medieval/knight theme for the "Easy" VBS. I do see where it could be a bayou theme. Either one would be fun.

As far as the revealing of the 2009 VBS programs, the May VBS e-mail says that they will be reveal on June 9, 2008. That's really early than previous years. I guess all our help on themes last year has gotten Group inspired and ready to go.

God Bless,

Thanks for pointing that out Josh! I handn't noticed the early date...That should please many of us especially those with early VBS's that want to be able to announce the theme.

That's the day the field test starts!  I wonder if the figure at that point the cat's out of the bag, anyway!
