Actually, in the Everglades (which are a swamp) there are both crocodiles and alligators. And we talked with several churches in New Orleans prior to finalizing the title.

Well, I, for one, LOVE the theme!  YAY!  I think it will be a blast to decorate for and do.  Now, on with Power Lab!

I will admit that I am not exactly enthused about it at the moment, but I am sure it will turn out as amazing as all the others have.

Unfortunately, that's a hard sell.  I saw the name of the theme on the forum and I immediately thought Australia.  The Everglades are in Florida and, in fact, there are very few crocodiles in Florida (see information on the University of Florida (Gators) Web site: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/UW157).  In my opinion, Alligators and Louisiana go hand-in-hand.  From the Audubon Zoo (N.O.'s world-famous zoo) Web site http://www.auduboninstitute.org/ : The Louisiana SwampSwamp Gator
It’s amazing to think of all of the planning that went into an environment that looks so natural like the Zoo's Louisiana Swamp Exhibit. With cypress knees, Spanish moss and swamp favorites like the white alligator, this exhibit is a slice out of a Louisiana bayou. Visitors can also see a trapper’s cottage, sample some Cajun cuisine, witness a real-life 'gator feeding or watch the black bears at play.

OH I LOVE IT!!! I am soooo excited about this theme!  I love the Old Testament Bible Stories too!  THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT!!! As usual...I have NEVER been disappointed, to me Group's programs are so inspired and they have a very blessed team of people putting these programs together.  God has really annointed them with creativity and inpsiration! Now on to PL...just a couple of weeks away....but I'm already so excited about next year!!!  I was really hoping for this theme....

Blessings,
Johnnie

Hi Everyone, I am SO EXCITED about Crocodile Dock.  I think decorating for the sanctuary will be easy compared to Power Lab.  We had to trace, draw, cut , prime and paint over 80 bottles for the Lab set and were going crazy.  It was a horrible set to have to create this year.  I think Crocodile Dock will be a breeze.  LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

Jody answered some questions on another 'new' thread:

This one is getting so long, I think she wanted to get a new one started now that we know the theme.

God Bless!
