| | Can this be made up the night before? I really do NOT want to be working it out in the short period I have before VBS starts. (We use a community center and don't have unlimited access.) I noticed in the instructions for the day, that the field test people set it aside for the week and it began to dry out. So I'm wondering if, overnight, with a lid on, it would be OK.

| | we use this recipe for slime at daycare and it should be fine overnight with the lid on it. If it does dry out a little, just add some more water, that's what we do when we are playing with it. It is a very simple recipe and cleans up with the vacuum if it gets on the carpet (just let it dry). blessings, Debbie |

| My 10 y.o. daughter made this in science class to use as some sort of an example with glaciers. She came home and wanted to make it and play with it. She made it and played with for about 3 days. It kept drying out but we just added more water. We weren't covering it so that would help I'm sure. I told her this was great because we would be doing this for VBS but I wouldn't tell her how. It's hard to keep the surprise and the wow factor for your kids when your the director. They like to look at what I'm doing and see everything in advance. She too smart though. She figured out it had to do with Peter walking on water. She didn't figure out they get walk across it though!

| RAP, I have the same problem as a director. I don't want my kids to be burned out of VBS before it even gets here. Plus I have 1 kid whose birthday falls during VBS (and also happens to be on my husband and I's anniversary! Needless to say we haven't actually had an anniversary in 6 years ). Anyways, they obviously are already pretty familar with the buddies and have picked a favorite, but I try for them not to know everything else. I think at this point of a week and a half out, they are just tired of being up at the Church, running VBS errands, and Mom being on the computer doing VBS stuff!

| Missy,
It going to be hard to get to the 50th if you keep missing aniversaries. Hope you plan to get away on vacation and relax soon. You earned it. Just wanted to tell you how much we appreciate all that you shared with us this year. Will be praying for your VBS program and for you and your family.
Looking forward to your follow up report and pictures!!
God Bless
Kathy

| Missy, I hear you! Roger and I celebrated our anniversary at VBS for years! We finally decided to make a big deal out of our dating anniversary and skip the wedding anniversary. But that's another story for another day! LOL
