Praying for this family. May the Lord keep her strong so she can take care of their home and family. May the Lord keep him safe from harm. As a military family of over 20 years we know from experience that seperations are hard. Be there when she needs a friend.

I said a prayer of thanksgiving and protection over him and his family. May the Lord keep him as the apple of his eye; and hide him in the shadow of His wings. And may those he leave behind be strengthened and ecnoruaged in the power of God's Holy Spirit.

Thanks for all of your prayers.  They are truly appreciated.  This family has another twist thrown into their lives.  They learned of a death in their family early this morning and are flying to Texas first thing in the morning.

The husband was scheduled to be in Texas on June 2nd.  I'm not sure when he is to leave for Iraq.  But they are staying until he leaves.  And won't be back in time for Power Lab.

I've got to do a little juggling and come up with a replacement for crafts and another teen helper.  Thankfully, I have 2 weeks to work it all out!
