I'm praising God and this is the scripture that comes to mind.   Our budget last year was $1600 and with careful budgeting we spent over $1200 (but I'm not sure if that included some things like the starter kit).  This year they cut our budget to $1000.    Plus last year we had several hundred dollars worth of decorations given to us by 2 churches through this board.    To make up some of the difference we went to our board of elders asked permission to do a Garage Sale fundraiser for VBS so we wouldn't have to ask the congregation for more money.   We just went through a building campaign so it didn't seem like a good time to ask for within for money.

My co-director took our proposal to the board of elders tonight along with our "ideal" budget (Almost all group crafts, bible buddies, bible books) which was over $1600.   They said we could have the garage sale if we wanted but they gave us another $650 for our budget!!!!!    That is way more than I could "ask or imagine".   GOD IS GOOD AND ANSWERS PRAYERS!!!!
