Help please. If anyone knows of a site where I can find a scientist wig, please let me know. I want one that that is similar to the Einstein wigs, but I don't want the bald part on it. Thanks again.

Go to BuyCostumes.com and they have an Einstein hat that lights up and makes noise and then sings the song "I've got the power for $19.99.

Jennifer - Where did you find yours? I don't like the bald ones, either, and I'm looking for something cheaper than the BuyCostumes one.

Laura - Do you know if the the OT wig will fit an adult?

Do you have a costume store near by. Some stay open all year round. You can get cheap white wigs to more expensive ones.Call ahead to see if they carry them. That way you don't use gas unless you need too.

I got the first wig from Oriental Trading, I think it is more kid sized. It fit my kids and not me. I ordered another wig from InternationalWig. They have one called Beetlejuice that looks like it will work. It was $21.99. I am supposed to get it Friday so I will post back after I know more.

I just came across these make-your-own-wig instructions.  I don't have a clue how well it works, but maybe one of you would want to try it.   http://people.howstuffworks.com/how-to-throw-a-halloween-party5.htm

This Halloween wig is perfect for your favorite mad scientist when creating a Halloween party.

To make these crazy coifs, stretch the waist of a pair of nylons over a basketball or soccer ball, knotting the legs near the crotch and cutting off the legs. Place a square chunk of cotton batting over the nylon cap so that a little hangs over the edges.

Baste the batting along the edges of the cap with a needle and thread. Be careful not to puncture the ball. When you've circled the edge, place one hand -- with fingers stretched out -- on the top of the batting to keep from ripping your stitches. With your other hand, pull and stretch the batting between your fingers so it sticks up here and there. Trim away the overhanging corners of batting. Once you've got the wig in a shape you like, remove it from the ball and sew a couple stitches at the crown to secure the top of the wig to the nylon. It's ready to wear.

That make your own wig sounds neat! I already bought one or I might try that myself.
