I want to build a volunteer website that will...
1) Basically provide all the info in our handbook in a quick/easy format for volunteers to look up.
2) Have all the necessary forms/paperwork
3) Post nursery schedules (This is the one ministry that we rotate volunteers much).
4) Offer training modules/affirmations/inspiration (youtube?)

For new volunteers I want to allow them to complete their applications online.
What do you do?
Any tips?

Hi Larry,
Your idea of a website is intriguing!
A few years back, I created a continuing education program from the Church Volunteer Central database of tutorials for my teaching teams, but I had to send out individual invitation to the cl. It was time consuming to keep up with who was taking what, but the teachers who did invest the time into the lessons told me they were very helpful so I kept it going.
I discovered recently that you can add a link from your website to the CVC Spiritual Gifts inventory. The tools are out there! I guess the challenge is finding the time to make it around the learning curve of creating a website. At least it is for me.
Would LOVE to hear more about your plans to make the website happen!

| You should check out www.cmconnect.org. It is a great site for connecting your volunteers.

Micheal, the website didn't load... Is this yours? It said there were ftp errors.
