| Just finished a mobil that we will be hanging in some of the hallways for decorations. Most of the hallways we use are part of a school and have lockers along the walls, so we hang alot from the ceilings. I will be using this mobil in the preschool and kindergarten hallways. The center of each gear is a slice of a ridged pool noodle. (Thx to whoever posted that idea on the forum). I will be hanging them in sets of two (like the pic) down the hallway. You can get 3 "sets" of 2 from 12 pieces of cardstock from 6 different colors (see 2nd pic). I used the outline of the purple gear from Group's freebies, enlarging and making smaller. There are 3 different sizes of gears, approx 8", 6 1/4" and 5 1/4". The holes are made w/a regular size hole punch. I have several people that help w/decorations that want "take home" projects. This is one of them. Hope this helps give someone an idea.

| | I love those! I have been searching for inexpensive ways to decorate our pre-school classrooms. These will be added. Did you have a gear template? I have not been able to open the one group put out. My computer says I need to change the format to jpeg and I don't know how to do that! |

| | Those are so awesome!!!! I love that...it just inspired me...I was thinking about an inexpensive way of decorating the test tube treat area...I was just thinking of a mobile with different size test tubes and beakers...maybe that was already posted some where...the forum is soooo huge!!! VERY COOL!!!! Love the pics....by the way...where did you get the pool noodles that are ridged??? I'm in AZ and have looked everywhere and only find the round ones...was thinking that I could just use foam...instead but would like the noodles instead. Blessings

| | Got it! Thanks so much. My 14 year old niece is visiting for the week. She wanted to help paint and work on VBS. This will be a perfect project for her! Thank you again. Kimberlee |

| I found the pool noodles in the closet at church. But I have seen them at our Deal$ dollar store here. Good luck finding them.

| | Your mobiles look great! They are not only bright but inexpensive, an A+ in my book. You mentioned you used a regular hole punch. The circle of punches look bigger. Are they? Thanks for the terrific idea! |
