| | I'm horrible at baking sugar cookies. They either come out thin and dry or thick and still doughy in the middle. I'd love to save a little $ and bake homemade cookies for our Thankful Faces snack. Can somebody, PLEASE, help me? Either tell me what I'm doing wrong or share your foolproof recipe! Thanks , Pam |

| | Pam- Have you thought about using premade doughs? I know sometimes our 99 cent/Dollar Stores have them. If you can get about 2 dozen out of the log that's only 5 cents per cookie. It's easy to cut & bake. Just a thought. Kate

| I always use the Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix (it comes in a pouch and makes about 30 2 inch cookies). SOOOOO easy - and yummy!

| | I am making my cookies too. I found that the recipe off the great value sugar (walmart brand) is pretty good... I add a little more flour to make it not so sticky.... I am so going to make Paula Deen's Molten Lava Cakes for my helpers.... I give thank you gifts each day and this what I will do for one of the days..... I haven't came up with a catchy phares yet.... any ideas? Missy11 |

| | I was just asking Wal-Mart today if they had any plan cookes, I would love to have a recipes if anyone has a good one. I had asked for volunteers, but then last week one said they couldn't make them for me so I guess I will need to either make them or buy them, but I would really rather make them. |

| | The Walmart plain sugar cookies are great. They are located in the bakery section, near the deli. Sometimes you have to preorder them. We used them two years ago for Fiesta. The kids love them! |
