We are doing a soccer theme to go along with the mission project. Posters of Africa, painted foam board in the shape of soccer balls and a lot of Goal signs. We are hopeing to send 100 soccer balls to Africa. We only have 62 children registered but our congregation has already sponsored 28 of the soccer balls.

We made some really large (4 and 5 foot) beakers, flasks, and test tubes. We painted our old Avalanche Ranch free standing fences neon green. We plan to glue those huge test tubes and beakers to the fences and set them out in the registration area. We also borrow another church's decorations so we will have an extra Powerlab sign to hang out front as well.

I set up a table decorated in bright neon colors and place a "shocker ball"---a glass ball that looks like it has electricity shooting around when you touch it.  The kids (and some grown up kids, also!!) can't stay away from it and it has really helped with pre-registration.
