| | I've been lurking for quite a while, so thank you for all the great ideas! This is my second year as a director and things are going much smoother this year. Group is great, I survived AR, just was a lot of work. I thought Group wasn't going to announce 2009 until July, so am I reading right, Crocodile Dock is the new 2009 VBS? Would be good to know as I was just about to let go of some AR props that could easily become bayou. Again, thanks for all the great ideas. Hopefully I'll be able to return the favor now that I'm getting a better handle on what I'm doing. |

| Could you list some for your ideas for using the AR props for Croc dock? Some of us need extra help in the imagination department.

| | Is there a simple way to decorate a pavilion for Crocodile Dock? (I'll be doing Crocodile Dock in a Park.) I know I'll be on a limited budget so any simple ideas would be great. I was thinking of just using the Posters that Group sells (Bible Point, Bible Story and Treasure Verse). Also, a couple of blow-up alligators/crocodiles. I would really like to network with other churches in my area as well for decorations. I know that'll be a good way to stretch VBS funds. Thanks again everyone for your wonderful ideas! | Josh - Maybe you could use some fish nets for texture.

Check out VBS Groupies for resources to help with the planning of your VBS. |

| | What about making/buying something that you could hang down like the Spanish moss? Hang that quickly all around the outside of the pavillion! The posts could be wrapped in paper bags to look like the tree in the promo shots. And then lots of white lights around the ceiling to twinkle like fireflies! Oooo..... I wonder if you could purchase those green spiderwebs at Halloween and pull them out to look like the moss..... Hmm....
