| I had the idea to make walls that looked like steel panels riveted together with gray paper. I tried many ways to make what looked like rivets, but I didn't like just drawing it on, and I need to cover 200 feet of walls! So it needed to be inexpensive and easy to pull off. I decied to walk through the Home Depot and just look. I had used round metal roofing tins in the past but they were bigger and gold. This time I found smaller (about 2" round) silver ones! A box with several hundred was $2.48. I will tape them to the paper with mounting tape/foam so that they are raised up slightly for dimension. We are also bending them up a little to add dimension. I will post a picture when we get a section done. I saw a wall on creative for kids that inspired me ,but it was all painted, something I am not able to do.

| | I am very interested in this 'rivets'. Exactly what are they called? I'll just ask someone at Home Depot to help me find them. Does it come in a box? Is there a brand name? |
