I have one sheet of 4x8 foam left and was thinking about doing the periodic table.  Problem is there is no way to get everything on that one sheet.  Has anyone adjusted to this size?  Would it just not be big enough?  Any imput would be appreicated!

I didn't resize it on the computer but I cropped it with my creative memories croping tool.  I still had a little a little that hung over but not bad I can't wait to put it up!!

I printed all the papers and trimmed them the as much as possible and I got it down to 8 feet wide.  I found some panels at the church that can be painted and they are each 4 foot wide.  I think I am going to paint tomorrow and try to put everything together.  I will post pics of how it turns out.

I was able to print "4" sheets per page, and that cut the size down for me to about 1/2 what it was.

I resized it all down into half sheets and it ended up being about 6 1/2 ft x 4 1/2 ft. We did have a bigger sheet of cardboard so we had a board around it but I bet you'd be able to squeeze it down to 4ft without a problem. I forgot to take a picture of it today (we start tomorrow!) but I will try to take one tomorrow and post it. If you're interested in the half sheet size just let me know and I can email it to you.

I just drew it by hand - good ruler! I then cut construction paper to match the colors. It looks really good.

Our youth group wants to make the decorations for VBS this year. I thought that making the periodic table would be a good activity for them. I used Microsoft Publisher and made 6 cards on each page for the books of the bible. There are 26 pages including pages for title cards. I printed the cards on various color card stock according to the key at the bottom of the chart. Then I had the youth cut apart the cards. Then we assembled them together like a big puzzle and it fit onto a presentation board (the type of boards that bend and are used at science fairs). We talked about the books of the bible while we put the cards in order then used double sided tape to secure the cards to the board. We had great fun with this project
