| Our church is booming and our Student Ministry is growing with it. I have been at this church for 2 years (Its my first full time position) and I have already instituted some pretty hefty changes and have seen God really start to move here. Our church is gearing up for a third service in August called Elevation. It is geared towards a younger crowd and since I can throw a baseball in Duke University's campus from my office window I believe it will be huge. Our current schedule looks like this. 8:15 first worship, 10:05 Sunday School, 11:15 Second Worship. We currently run a master teacher model for our students on Sunday morning followed by what we call "Break Out Sessions" which are grade and gender based small groups. When Elevation is added in August it will be at 12:30. So our schedule goes to this...8:15 First worship, 10:05 Sunday School, 11:15 Second Worship, 12:30 Elevation. I need some advice on how to run the Student programming on Sunday morning. Has anyone done anything similar to this. I am leery of splitting the youth because I want to keep momentum and continuity. I will be leading worship for Elevation so I cannot run two Sunday School programs. Any suggestions? Any models out there that have worked well in situations like this? Thanks for your time.
In Christ,
Jeremiah
