Here are a few pictures from our VBS, I have some more but still have to upload them.  We are a smaller church, and ran right around 60 kids this year, but here is what makes everything worth it.  My husband who was our scientist on stage each night, (also is the Pastor) held alter call were we saw 26 kids who were saved.  So all the stress and work is definately worth it.

As you can see I took many of the ideas that were shared on this board.  Once I have a few more minutes I will upload some more.

Great photos thanks for posting them.  WOW, 26 children saved, that is wonderful news.  Thank you for sharing.  I love the color balls in the paino.

Thanks

Bill

Wow! Bringing children to the feet of the Master!  Great job!  I've always said, "Decorations don't save anyone, but if they create the excitement to bring them in and hear the Word speak to them I've done my job."  Loved the balls in the piano!

I would challenge all of us to be praying daily for a harvest.  Three years ago our church, which runs 700 on Sunday morning, had a VBS where not one child made a profession of faith, not that seeds weren't planted, but it broke my heart.  We must bathe our efforts in prayer.

"Prayer is striking the winning blow; Service is gathering the results."  Dutch Sheets

Soli Deo gloria!

I like the balloons in the plastic sheeting... Your pictures were so colorful and fun. How the angels must have sung with all those little ones praising Jesus...makes it worth all the work and stress.

Thanks you guys, this is our first year at this church and from what we hear, usually we only have a couple of kids saved during VBS, so the whole church was pretty excited to see that many be saved.  You could have heard a pin drop the kids were really listening.  Here are a few more pictures.

Opps sorry I forgot to tell you what was in the bottles.  In the yellow one I mixed Florsecent paint with water, it wasn't shaken up in the picture but each day before VBS I gave it a good shake and it turned out a bright yellow.  In the bottle with green liquid I broke open a green sharpie and put the ink pad right into the water, it just keep getting a darker green all week long.
