| | Does anyone have an easy, cheap craft project for K-6 Sunday School kids to do that could be used to decorate the halls and classrooms? I'm hoping to get the kids excited about our upcoming Power Lab VBS-the last week of July. Last year, for Frontier Ranch, we made sunflowers with paper plates using yellow paint and real sunflower seeds. Also, if anyone in Northern California would like to share props I'd love to communicate with you. |

| Yes I have an idea for you younger kids. We have been using many bright colors in card stock paper. I have been cutting strips out of all the scraps and the children are making paper chains for VBS. They can hang from the ceiling or be draped across the windows. The links seem scientific enough and the colors are pretty to look at. It is good not to waste all the left over paper.

| | For our younger kids the week before VBS we printed coloring pages from the clip art CD and let the kids color them. We are putting them all over the windows at the back of our sanctuary that looks through to the fellowship hall. They have really enjoyed being a part of the set-up. The adults even joined to color!
