This topic has been talked about before but I wanted to start of poll about whether or not the Clipart CD Set should be included in the Starter Kit. Feel free to make your voice heard and add your opinion!

It goes without saying that decorating is a huge part of VBS.  The lack of any meaningful decorating materials in the Starter Kit is, in my opinion, a glaring hole in Group's approach.  I wish they would consider adding something of more substance to future starter kits.

While I feel the clipart cd set is invaluable and purchase it every year.  I would assume if it were added to the starter kit, the kit's price would go up.  Not a problem for me but might be for smaller churches and missions.  So I vote to keep it separate.  The free clipart is probably enough for most churches that can't afford it.  I know I would make do without if I had to.

Ditto what Cindy said.  We are a smaller church.  And any items that are added to the starter kit raise the price!  We use the free clipart and that's enough.  I get more decorating ideas from the forum than anywhere else.

Yes!  I do agree that the cd should be included.  Or just make more clip art available online when you register your church.  Ours has their own website that our congregation can go to and sign up on line.  It is definitely an asset to having the clip art.  So much easier to decorate!!!!

I can't get by without the clip art CD, it is invaluable for some of us less artisticly inclined.  I would definitely pay the extra for it to be in the kit.  Maybe Group should offer a basic kit and a deluxe kit.  I see alot of people that never use the Squeaky Beaker (preschool) manuals and some do.  That could be something to think about.

I am agreement with putting it in the starter kit.  I can't draw a lick so we purchased it this year, but it was a little disappointing that neither that was there, or even pages in director's manual to give suggestions on how to set up a room for decorations

I think the better question would be "Would you want to pay to have the CD in the kit?"  The price will go up everytime something like this is added.  What's the difference between ordering it along with the kit or not?  That way it doesn't increase the price for those who don't need it and can't afford it.

I agree on the 2 kinds of kits.  That would be a good option for those with lower funds and a delux for those with higher that want it all.  I think the CD lacked a few things this year but all in all, was good for the money.
